I love all of these--it's so neat seeing progress through the years. You are really, really, really good! WOW. And I am like you in that I actually prefer the plain ole mechanical pencil rather than the fancy graphite pencils.

That's funny that you just now started this; I scanned a bunch of my drawings onto the computer only a couple of days ago, and I was going to start this kind of thread! Lol

I know I have older drawings somewhere, but drawings from the age of 10 are the earliest I have uploaded on the computer. I have these in order from age 10 to now--15, almost 16. I have no drawings from when I was 14 because I didn't draw much for that year, and never made copies of the ones I did draw. I just gave them away.

    So here I go...

I actually think I drew this when I was nine, not ten.

    Age ten.

    Age ten. My first bird.

Age ten. I really started getting into puppies at that time. Lol

Anyway, there are a few from age ten. And btw, NO tracing for any of these.

Here are a few from 11 and 12. I received good drawing pencils when I was 11 and so that was cool. As you can see in the first horse drawing I really extra used them. LOL

I was so, so proud of this horse drawing once! Lol Now I look at it and see a million mistakes...

Two drawings of Cocker Spaniels and an Irish Setter.

    Still age 11.

And now age 12. I started to understand shading and stuff like that a little more.

Wow, that's a lot of photos...but there's just a couple more coming of recent drawings.

Oops, I lied! I can't find any drawings from age 13, but I found an unfinished one from when I was 14.

This I did early last year/late the year before? I'm not sure. I coulda been 14 though.

This is my first person drawing! After a year long break from not drawing that much, I found I could draw people.

A couple more of my people drawings I did. People even paid for a few of them!

Here are some of my most recent horse and people drawings.

This baby is my most recent one :)

EDIT: Sorry is that was too many pictures! I didn't realize how many I was posting...!
