Birthday painting?

Me and my cousin are teaming up to paint our coache's horse for her 30th birthday..any ideas or suggestions to make it look REALLY good? :)

Thanks in advance
PS: my weakness is shading & playing with different colours instead of just one..we are using acrylic paint on a giant canvas

Hmm don't you think it might look a bit weird if both of you paint it?
Because you'd both have different styles, brush strokes etc and I think it would really show.
midwestgirl89 and Kayty like this.

To ride or not to ride? ... What a stupid question!!

Yeah, but we will probably each do different parts, not like: I do half his head and she does the other half lol

But when I was younger, my class did a mural where we all had a piece of tile and painted that looked horrible because some people were good & some were horrible..and ofcourse people using wrong colours lol
