contest entry . . . does it suck?

My pony club is having a sport horse drawing contest and the winner gets a $100 gift card to the local tack store.

Here's my entry. I still have to add shading and color. Tell me what you think! Be honest!

I'm pretty sure that is from a coloring book....and you just traced it so technically its not your work. And I just so happen to own that same one. Its number 27 in John Green's Horses of the World coloring book. Entering that would be pretty unfair to those who entered and actually tried on their own.

It looks dead on exact as the page. So you "didn't" trace it, but it looks like it. And even if you didn't trace it, its still copying someone elses work.

Hm.. it does look a bit traced.. but it looks nice.
