First digital manipulation in forever- critique?

This guy took forever. Drawing the highlights/mane and tail/and eyes itself took about an hour and a half. Helpful critiques wanted. If I start getting into it again, I'm thinking of offering small commissions. Granted here, I was simply bored so I used precut stock- commissions would be entirely custom made. This is the first one in over a year and a half. Opinions?
