Classic Scale Breyer 'Loping QH Mare' repainted into a gorgeous, detailed Liver Chestnut Roan. She comes with her show ribbons and a referrence card for her color. Painted in mixed media, including acrylics, pastels, earth pigments and watercolor pencil to create a highly detailed model. This little girl has recieved some outstanding comments from show goers and people who have seen her in person, including the usual comment on my roans: "Another example of your superstar roans!" and "Her pictures don't even begin to capture her detail". Strawberry was then sealed with matte spray to protect her paintwork and had her eyes and the inside of her nostrils glossed - I didn't gloss her hooves as she is unbraided/unbanded and thought she looked as if she was bathed and ready to be banded up before her class (perhaps she is being lead into the stables, or loped around the warm-up arena before she is banded?) - although if the new owner would like her hooves glossed, they can be done before she goes!
Is she LSQ? I'll let the buyer decide as everyone has a different opinion of the term - but would I show her? You bet!! And I did, and she proved herself with flare, winning Grand Champion in the Custom division against local and international artists.
I don't have her full show results from the show yesterday, but I'll repost them as I have them - I do know she is DUN Qualified, placed first, recieved a Champion and then of course, her Grand Champion Custom.
She also photo shows well!! (And I'm no photographer when it comes to making gorgeous set-up's for the models)
