Graphite Work(:

Well..I'm just going to put all the headshots I have so far (and will be finishing) here. I think one or two may have already been on here floating around somewhere, but that's okay, lol.

This is my latest one, I did it of the horse I'm now leasing instead of Dude, Lucky.(: She's a black QHxMorgan mare.

Just a random Arabian.

Not sure of a breed..but I think it looks cute.(:

A Sorraia Mustang headshot, this is one of my favourites. <3 I think you guys have seen this one before though, lol.

Some sort of Drafty horse with a halter on..I had no reference for the halter, so I know it isn't the best. ;;

A Draft horse with the Sabino modifier. This is probably one of my favourite white modifying genetic things. <3 lol

A foal heashot I did.

A western pleasure horse I did. I didn't have a ref for anything on it, and the sketch was from awhile ago.

These two are the same sketch, but I copied the lines and did another one with different markings and such. I like both of them quite a bit.

This is kind of one of the new boarder's horse at the barn..I really don't like the horse, I won't lie. It pins it's ears and lunges at you if you walk too close passed it's stall. >.>

I'm gladly open to any comments and/or critique.(:

Love them! But with the western pleasure horse, he's head is too bulky and his head seems to do from small to big? Instead of tapering down to the muzzle, it kinda gets bigger if you get what I mean? Also they are all kinda bulky and don't have much shape to them. Try to get them into more of a horsey shape instead of a block. I love the detail and the bone structure you put into it!

I love them though! Esp the first one Feel free to choose a pic of Tess to draw if you ever want to :)

I agree with Pinto. Some of them do look a bit block-like. However your detail is amazing!!! Great job!

Thanks guys.(:
I did notice the blocky-ness on some of them..Some are also more recent than most though. The pleasure horse definitely shows where my major weak spots were when I first started to try and work without a ref. I never took the time to fix the sketch before shading it and it shows :p I think the sketch was from around 2 years ago, easily, lol.
And the blockyness in the first one, Lucky, is suppose to be like such, lol. She has quite the head on her, haha. I think the sketch looks identical to the picture I worked from.
