Holy bajeebus.

Hi, new here!

Just ventured over to this part of the forum and had to join. I've never seen such a congregation of artistically talented horse enthusiasts! I feel like I can learn a lot from you lot and just enjoy discussing things with you... I wish I had the time right now to get back into traditional drawing but since I am attending a full-time graphic design course and working, I really can't waste time on my own things. Granted, I did just have a month off and was totally unmotivated to do any. Now I'm kicking myself because I might not get the chance again in a long while!

Anyway... anything traditional I've done is totally outdated and I don't want to show for fear of embarrassing myself But here is my latest digital piece done in January this year.

I also photomanipulate... here is probably one of my favourites... http://i49.tinypic.com/28urs8.png (linked because it is so large).

So anyway... yay!

Hi there, welcome to the forum!

Awesome artworks you have! I really like the second picture you did.

There is one principle that should never be abandoned, namely, that the rider must first learn to control himself before he can control his horse. This is the basic, most important principle to be preserved in equitation - Alois Podhajsky

okay, i think I know you from somewhere. Both of those pieces [which are amazing, btw] feel SO familiar.

SNAP! Haha I'm with Liz, give me a pencil/pastel and paper any day and I'll whip you up a drawing, but put me near a computer and it's a disaster zone! My attempts at 'digital artwork' look more like a 5 year old's scribble with a crayon

Ah, having a graphics tablet to use is the key. Mouse drawings would certainly look like scribble for sure x]
