I think I'm in love...

with pens.

I know, right? Last year I tried drawing with a pen and I absolutely hated it. I loved the final product, but didn't like getting there haha.

In chemistry today, I was daydreaming [I mean...taking detailed notes] when I realized I had my new sketchbook. I pulled it out and spent the hour drawing. I was using a crappy pen that my dad got on a flight to Japan [long story], but I like it.

The result...

Obviously it's not very good [haha], but in my defense I was working of a picture on my cell phone [not that I had it out in class or anything...]

And my first try with pens, last year:

OW my goodness! I love your work... you suck. Kidding, I just wish that I could draw with pens! I have tried but I have to do my pencil work first.

Keep at this! You make everything pop with that blue pen.

I've definately recently fallen in love with pens too. I love how you add a little blue into the mix. I haven't been that bold yet.

thank you! I used the blue for the mane/tail so that it wouldn't just blend into the beck.
