    Illustrating a book!

    So, I am venturing out to illustrate a children's book. I won't speak too much about the book as of yet, as the author is still developing it, but she gave me permission to post the illustrations I have done, so far.

    Some of these will be cropped, and most will be reduced to a much smaller size, and there's still some "cleaning up" to do on them and such, but here's an openning few.

    Let's just say, the story concerns a very unhappy boy of ten who is forced to live in the country, which he thinks is awful, until he meets a sweet young girl, and the wild Canadian horse on her farm. Oh, and one of the boy's main sources of comfort and consistency in his life is his pet rabbit.

    There will be more later, and information as to the book itself, when the time is right.

    Sorry those last two are upside down.

    I don't know a lot about the Canadian Horse, but they were a very versatile and strong horse, valued in the military and by the farmer on the frontier.

    Oooooh those are so gorgeous! That's so awesome that you have the opportunity to do the illustrations, it will be wonderful to see your work in print in a book :)
