Smile Mom Jumps Skipper circa 1942

Hi All,
A few weeks back I posted a thread under "tack" asking if someone could explain the halter arrangement to me because I wanted to paint it. I did get some help, and now the picture is finished. This is a picture of my mom (born in England in 1907), she immigrated to America at age 21, and after being a governess for a number of years purchased a riding stable. This picture was taken about 1942.

The original was very badly damaged, there is an intermediate BW that I used a photo editing program to improve, and finally, there is the final painting, done in acrylics. This is the first time I have painted on canvas since 1973 - I finally retired and have the opportunity to get back to it.

I'd appreciate your comments.
