My Artwork. Old works, and most recent.

Hello. I saw this part of the Forum, and thought I'd show some of my artwork.

I tend to use unusual colors when I do horses on the computer. This, I did first with a program called Paint.net. Then I saved it and opened in Gimp, using the smudge tool to add some flair to the mane and markings. Below is the piece before smudging.

Here are a few more Paint.Net/Gimp pieces.

This was my first piece using the two programs. Before Gimp below:

Now we move on to older pieces. These are done in Windows Paint.

Garden Horse:

Dance Through Magic:

Elemental Herd:

Palomino Magic:

The Grey Lady:

Colors Of Nature:

And Now, To a hand drawn runner. Ignore the date the camera was saying. The Camera was an idjit. I think this was in 07.

Pretty dang good, especially for windows Paint! I know how tough that program can be to make a decent drawing

very nice! really modern which is very different and clever for horse portraits. Most ...nearly all of the time the pics look old,or take place in the cowboy era. This is fresh!! Especially the top 4 red on red and red on yellow I would hang those in my house or office. very coool

I very much like the smudged one at the top of this list. I like the brilliant red. Would make cool fabric.

I LOVE gimp! You can do so many cool things with it. I can tell you have put a lot of time and effort into your art, completely original computer art is a lot harder than most people think!

Thanks all. Unfortunately, the smudge has stopped working on Gimp, so I haven't been artsing much. I may get my guy to scan some more of my art onto his computer so he can send the files over to this one. I've wanted to sell some of them, but have no clue of how to do it. Like mug prints. DeviantArt is very hard to get noticed on, though.

Those are nice. I find Paint very difficult and frustrating to draw in. I don't have Gimp, but have heard good things about it.

I also don't have a tablet, which I'm sure would be easier too.

Love those! The first group reminds me of the illustrations from the book "The Girl Who Loved Wild Horses"

Very neat :)
