My Very First Custom Horse Model!

I'm new to the world of horse models, though I'm a long time horse lover! I saw a thread on a horse forum the other day about someones custom models and it inspired me to give it a try!

This guy started off as one of my OLD flea bitten grey Grand Champions! Please let me know what you think! Thank you!

I hope sometime in the future I'll be able to start making custom models for people of their horses! But I still have a lot to learn first!

Wow! It's so cute! I love painting things like that, and after I buy a few cheap model horses I might have to start painting them. What Kind of paint do you use?

It looks good. Do you have a picture of your subject?? Or was it just one you made up? I never thought of using an old GC.
I've done a couple (only of my horses though). You can buy smaller breyer models that are meant for painting yourself. There are several different types, but basically you get 2 to a box, along with paint & an instruction pamphlet on how to paint different colors & patterns. It's really neat.
