OK, I used to draw when I was younger but kids & work interfered with my time, energy, and emotions... I need passion to draw. Recently, and at the age of 40+ I started drawing again. I saw drawings on here and thought I would take a picture of one drawing I am almost finished with and one I am just starting... for your opinions. I have horses and am beginning to discover passionate emotion again.
There are so many great artists on this forum that I am humbled (and a little worried about showing my work).
I am sorry: I am new to this forum and did not know how to upload a photo here so I included a link to my blog with the pictures of my drawings there. Thanks for looking and giving me any pointers or opinions.
Thanks for the positive feedback. I used to use chalk pastels (in high school), then went to pen & ink but only black & white, I have branched out now to colored pencil, photo pencils, pen & ink combo. Kind of taking a risk but it has been fun exploring.
Thanks. It helps to hear what other people I do not know think. It is one thing to have family look at you artwork, and another to hear from non-related people. I appreciate the comments. I will post again when I have some more work finished.
Hi! I am new here...this is actually my first post I really like how expressive your drawing is...I think it's great you are experimenting with new techniques...that's what keeps it fun
