New Stuff! Blue Horse Series

I have a bunch of precut mats that were given to me which are designed for pictures of a 5 by 7 inch or slightly larger size; a size much smaller than I usually work at. (usually I am up to 11 by 14 inches)

So, thought I'd see if I could makse some fun paintings to fill those frames. I LOVE the colore Pthalo Blue, so used it primarily, and added the dot of red, because, well, because everything is more beautiful with a dot of red.

I give you , "Blue Horse Series"

now that I look at these photos, they are a bit out of focus. Sorry. I just took with a regular camera in natural lighting.

this effect, of the spray, is achieved by putting fairly wet paint on , and blowing with a sharp puff in the angle you want it to go. Gives a feeling of "action".

'Bloody ripper of a new technique", Tiny :P

I adore these ones, I do love colour in art, so I am in love with these. I just love how loosely you work, there is no way I could do anything like these!
