I have the same problem! It's not only you. I have two new things to put up that I just can't no matter how I try. Error 2032 or something of the sort it says. It used to be fantastic for me, not so sure now! I do see what you are saying about the 1st and 3rd person POV. Not sure which I prefer so I guess I can switch it up every few months haha! I'll see how things go.
Ok my logo is "Custom portraits of horses, other pets, and their people" That leaves no room for limitations really unless we get into fantasy here. The spirit of the horse thing does gear it more towards horses, which is really what I'd prefer though I do realize it does limit me. Since I have my logo under it stating I do many animals and my gallery contains a variety of species I think I've got the right idea conveyed, that I am looking for. Unfortunately I can't update it! That is really starting to tick me off. I may try other free host sites and toy around with them. I will certainly let you guys know how they are in comparison.

Hmmm that's odd, I've never had an issue with mine! Although can't wait until I can get back onto a registered site again, my problem now though is that I have my freewebs site printed on all of my business cards, flyers and brochures so I'll need to find out how to re-direct from my current free site onto my registered one!

Post it big and bold in the home page with a link? Until you find you need to replace the cards.

I just had another flick through it, and I've decided to register for a domain name using webs.com as a base so I don't need to completely re-do my site. So now it will hopefully re-direct automatically. I've got over 1000 business cards haha so it might take a while for them to not be needed, plus many of them have gone to people from being put up at pet shops and saddleries. I'd rather leave my site as is than have to make people click on another site address, that's another put off!

Very true, but at least it wouldn't be too bad if worse came worst. One click never deterred me much. I could see being sent of to search for it again! Haha

I've figured it out Equusketch! It's a pain, but you have to go the tab that says "File manager" (in the top grey tools bar on the home page), single uploader (or multiple of course) That will not upload to your gallery but it will to your account. Then, go to your gallery where you would typically upload from, instead of using the "upload" tab, use the "my files" tab, it will be there and work.

I've worked otu my prices a bit better, they start off cheap and go higher because I went by square inches (say oils 75 cents an inch, charcoal 50 cents etc...) I think it is pretty good they way it is now. We will soon see!
