"Summer's Day" painting - non Horse

Hope it is ok for a non-horse pic?

Life has been SO busy this fall I haven't had much time to do much artwork. Every spring I plant sunflowers, primarily to draw in the American Goldfinches. I love those little yellow birds, they sure are cool.

A few months ago I decided that for my first BIG acrylic painting, I should try one of the sunflowers and the finches. I hope you like it.

It reminds me of a puzzle. I love it, especially the gold finches!

That is lovely! It would make a nice stamp or like the other poster said, a puzzle. You clearly have talent!

I haven't seen your art in a while. Welcome back! I can't even fathom doing a painting that large. I LOVE how vibrant the colors are! I didn't realize you also worked in color. What are the dimensions of the painting?

Thanks for the kind words everyone!!

I have done a handful of watercolor paintings, but this is my FIRST acrylic. The size is 24"X36"! :)

I can't wait to do the next one, just wish I had more time!
