Watercolor painting, do you think it looks good?

I was going to give it to someone from the barn for her birthday. It is of her horse, Sammy. Here it is:

Honestly I'm not sure if I should have done watercolor with this horse. I don't know what to think about it or if she will like it. Her birthday party is at 2pm, so please comment quick! Thanks.

Thanks! She loved it, so I was really happy. The painting is not all mine though, my mother helped me out being that I'm very new to watercolor. Haha Should of seen my few attempts.
