Barn Leasing...

After some recent conflict at work I've decided to move my horse, Bamber, to continue his training and hopefully for permanent residency. I get two stalls at the place, as well as 'free run' of their adjacent property for "playing around."

I'm going to meet with the property owners to discuss a lease contract. The wife of the couple used to train horses, so I'm secure with my "little man" being there. However I am going to stress that I do not want anyone messing with him, aside from turning him out, without my presence. Their property or not... my horse, my liability.

Does anyone have some tips on anything I should ask to be included in the contract? I will post a "board" outside of each stall outlining the horse's feed regime as well as "rules" (my horses do not get hand fed, for example) regarding that horse and its 'personality' and emergency contact information -- including myself, my veterinarian, and my farrier.

Also, do take note that I've never leased a barn/pasture before...
