discount for the arena being closed?

There's only an outdoor where I board, and I don't expect a discount when I can't use it because it's a sheet of ice.

While there is a covered and outdoor arena, and a roundpen at our barn, the boarding contract does not say anything about the arena availability. It is also a lesson barn and boarders know that when they bring their horses. Yes, most people choose the barn for the access to the arena, but it is not a guarantee. They pay for board. Those kinds of improvements are sometimes worth the patience and not fussing about a discount. Footing and caring for the facility is time consuming and costly.

At out barn, in the contract says were are to have full access to it, and our BO with certainly give us a discount if we couldnt use the arena 1/2 of the month, since the outdoor is covered in snow, and hasnt been worked since October, dosnt drain well, and is terrible to ride in.
