Dressage Barn in Syracuse, NY?

Hey everyone,
I'm planning to move to Syracuse, NY for college this fall, and now that I've been accepted, I've started the process of searching for a barn to move my horse to.

So far, it's been wildly unsuccessful. I've scoured all the google results, yellowpages, newhorse, etc. I've looked through tack shop websites for possible resource listings, checked various dressage and combined training association's websites...but I'm hoping I managed to miss something. I've only managed to find hunter/jumper barns, and like, one dressage barn.

I'm very much hoping that there is an awesome, secret dressage barn close to downtown Syracuse that you can only find by talking to local people. LOL. So, Syracusians, where's my dressage barn? LOL!

So here's what I'm looking for:
- Must be within 30 minutes of Syracuse University.
- Must have an indoor.
- Ideally a dressage or eventing/combined training barn, with trainer on site.
- Must have daily turnout.

Also, has anyone heard of Maple Rock Farm in Manlius, NY? I've called them, and haven't heard back yet. That's the one dressage barn I've found that has an indoor. LOL

I'm planning a visit out next weekend, and would really like to visit some barns while I'm up there.

Try Denise Vespa Stables, expensive but very nice. I don't do anything fancy with Topaz so I board at a small self care stable in Manlius. I have lived here 5+ years and never hear of this Maple Rock place.

Also try Tanglewood Riding Center, Daniluk Farms, and Windy Hill Acres. If you're also looking for a trainer to work with locally Bachir Bserani is a wonderful trainer who has trained Dressage and worked with horses for MANY years (he wrote a book about Arabians too).

Thanks Breela! I hadn't found Daniluk Farms yet, looks like a cool place, I'll definitely go check it out! :)

Tanglewood doesn't offer daily turnout though, and I have a 3 y/o, so that's a must! LOL
