I moved them

So I moved Sonya and Rumour to a new barn today.
I am very happy with this barn, and Sonya and Rumour are as well.
This new barn has 20+ box stalls, and an indoor and outdoor arena. I like it alot beter than the other barn I was boarding at.

Some pics of them at the new barn:

They loaded fine, Rumour had to have a little push, but not too bad. I expected that, with it being her first trailering and all.
Put some ointment on her tear. Had a vet that boards there look at it and she said it should heal up fine if we take care of it, but it is too late for stitches as they wont hold.
Both were fine once they were put into the little field they will be in for a few days before they go in with the other mares and foals. They love all the grass they have to eat! They were in a dry lot up until a week ago at the other barn.

Good girl.... Looks like a great place and it must be nice to know they are happy and living in a place that just looks well maintained and kept up.
Enjoy the feeling of contentment with moving to a nice place that will keep your horses safe..

I am glad that you found a new place for your horses :) I know that when you are worried about them it is hard to focus on anything else!

Thanks everyone for the comments.

They both seem to like all the grass. I am glad the grass is so thick as Sonya has been a little on the thin side since Rumour was born as the other barn had her on a dry lot so she only got hay when they threw some flakes in with her. Now they both have thick grass and a round bale to eat from whenever they want.

Sonya and Rumour are going to be moved in with the broodmares and foals either Monday or Tuesday, so Rumour can play with them!
It's funny. The 4 other foals are all fillies, like Rumour, and 2 of them are older than her, and 2 are younger, so she fits in perfectley!

I'll get some new pictures this week to show you all how they are settling in.

That is great that there are other young horses for her to play with. Such an important aspect of a young horses development IMO! Cant wait to see pics :)
