North East Calgary AB - Where to ride?

Hello everyone,

My name is Megan and I am in search of a good small to medium sized schooling barn close to North East Calgary.

I have owned a number of horses in my past, and have shown on a number of circuts, including the A's in Ontario. I stopped riding when I moved Calgary (which was around 8 years ago), and am finally looking at getting back into the horse world. I realize that my skills will not be what they used to be, and as a result would like to spend some time taking lessons before looking for a horse of my own. I am very excited to get back into the saddle, as it has been WAY too long. Having said that I know the value of a good barn, and since I am not in the horse loop out here I thought this would be a good place to start the search.

If anyone can suggest a good english barn for an adult returning to the sport, that would be great.

Thanks so much!

Megan

There are not very many barns on the north east end of the city sadly.
I would reccomend sweet talk stable as they have lesson horses available. There are a few more stables but most require you to have your own horse. There is also Calta Stables which also has lesson horses available, Meadowlark stables I believe has lesson horses as well, other then that I can't think of any others.
Hope that helps a little!
