Possibly moving to San Antonio, need help...

I currently live in Illinois, have 2 horses that I will be moving and am trying to find some things out about the San Antonio area.

I'm interested if there are any barns with free choice hay, stalls and at minimum 8 hr turnout? I'm ok with a stall with run... Price is open for the right care of my babies. I can no longer ride due to a back injury, so riding accomodations are not important to me. I'm more interested in high quality care.

The other is my phobia. I have a big fear of the creepy crawly things that bite. My friends in SA say to stay closer to the city rather than the sprawl. This for me means if it's possible to find a boarding situation not out in the sticks it would be much preferred. To clarify, my friends in SA have zero experience with horses so I'm not getting much advice on that end.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!
