Are there any grants for horse operations such as boarding, lessons, and training?

Short answer? No. You want to do that, you'll need your own start up money.

The only way I can maybe see them getting a grant is if they ran a not for profit organization, such as theraputic riding, or a program teaching kids as an elective course in school (have seen a few programs popping up like this recently), or working w at risk youth, that kind of thing.

The only grants available are for non-profit causes, such as therapeutic riding programs, veteran programs, etc.
