Geez, until I saw your location, I thought you were talking about the barn I escaped from years ago. In any event, move ASAP. Life's too short to put up with weird stuff like that.

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

If weird stuff like that happened to my horse, I'd move. It's not safe... gates being left open and such.

While I am NOT a fan of barn Drama... I would be curious what exactly you were 'warned' about as far as the girl. I am guessing if someone told you to be wary of her, there may have been issues with her in the past. Is she someone who would spread tales to the BO about you? Is she someone who may cause 'mischief' just to get things stirred up? Where was your horse when the girl 'discovered' the injury? Just playing devils advocate here...
