    Losing one like that would be tough.
    Last year I bought a show stallion out of California. He was, quite literally, everything I wanted in my stallion. I had him nine days and he died from a case ulcers that were so bad he could have died at any moment. I came really.close then to selling out then.
    Stayed with it and found another awesome guy. His sire is a CA carrier and turns out his dam was as well. He only had a 25% chance of surviving and coming out CA negative - which he did.
    But there is always a risk and sometimes it's just too hard.

    I hope you find your dream filly soon.

    Please keep us updated in your adventures :) Its now the time for things to start looking up for you! You never know where life might lead, Im sure when the time comes the perfect little filly will be dropped right under your nose! Now all that's left is developing the patience until then! That would sure be my problem!
