I hope everything goes ok! Can't wait to see pictures! Maybe she knows this is her last and is relucent to let it go After that long being pregnant though you would think shed be like 'get this thing out of me already '
Well guys...this story has come to an end. I'm sorry it has taken so long to post, but with breeding season in full swing here...we are running around like chickens with our heads cut off.
Ms. Crazy lady delivered a still born filly March 6. She was georgous in every way, looked just like her dad, but sadly upon the aucropsie (autopsie for animals) it was discovered that she had a whole in her heart and never would have survived. Ms Crazy Lady did very well, and we are very proud of her. She delivered with no problems and stood right up and watched us try and get the filly to take a breath. We are very sad over the loss but are thankful we still have Ms Crazy Lady.
Crazy was turned out into the "retired" pasture with out other mares who are now out of commision. She seems to really be loving all the room and the herd experience and they accepted her immediatly...even though she's the oldest!
