    408 days in foal.

My TW mare is 408 days in foal and doesn't seem like she want to give it up no time soon. So stressed this is the 1st and last time breeding.I CAN'T TAKE MUCH MORE.

If you haven't already, I'd have the vet out to check on her. Sometimes when they hold on to a foal for a really long time, the foal will have problems when delivered.

Completely agree with Dreamcatcher, if you haven't already, it's defiantly time for the vet.

I would still have a vet out despite. Are you positive that there isn't twins? What kind of hay are you giving her? Any fescue in there?

Any news? (although if you get the vet out, you can guarantee she'll foal that day!)

The recommendation s actually 14-16 days post breeding. At 18-20 days the fetus is already attached in place. 14-16 days they're still mobile so easier to eliminate one easier where as after attachment you're more likely to lose both.
