    There is nothing really wrong with riding a pregnant mare as long as they are not under any undue stress. If they are doing what they have been prior to stud that's fine, my only concern is to take it slow, as while they have been at stud they have technically had a few weeks off and need to be brought back into work accordingly.

    I competed my show hack until she was 7months and rode her until she was 9ish, only gently mind you, as she got extremely jealous if I took her paddock mate out instead of her, and I could feel her knify glares as I rode down the driveway past her paddock!!
