Hi everybody, the reason I think and am almost sure my horse is a andalusian is because he has a spanish brand and the people from the andy and lusitano registry saw him and insisted on doing a breed physical on him and they determined he was

Spanish Mustangs from certain areas have been genetically typed as Spanish - the legend is that they came from the horses Cortez brought when conquering central America and migrated north. So even though you can't register him as an Andalusian/Lustiano, he still has the same blood running through his veins.

Mustangs are way better anyway. Beauty and brains. Not to mention *great* legs and tough hooves. But maybe I'm biased. <3
