Any guesses on how tall he will be?

I have a 19 month old QH gelding. He currently is 14.3+ at the withers and 15.1+ at the hip. His dam was 15.3 and his sire was 16.2. He strings to 16.1 but I'm not sure if he's going to get that big. Any thoughts?

It is possible. Just have to keep on measuring him until he matures

Did you measure him from the mid knee to the hairline above the hoof? That will give you a rough estimate

Green Broke
He could still get to around that height. Some horses grow to their full size very quickly while others grow slowly. Another thing to do is to double check your string measurement to make sure you measured correctly

My coming 4yo draft cross strings to anywhere from 16.3hh to 17.1hh, depending on the method you use. He's currently 16.1hh. So, it's quite possible for your guy to reach his string tested height.
