I have a few questions about the registration forms at the APHA.
First, if I don't have the APHA ID number of the owner of the dam and sire, which is the same person, but I have his signature and his address and he
Couldn't remember is APHA ID either, is it absolutely necessary? I
Have the registration number of the dam and sire.
Secondly, what is the second place for an address under the dam's section for?
Thirdly, if I don't know the exact "beginning and ending date the
Horses were exposed", the owner could only remember the month, April,
But I have the Breeder's certificate control number. Could I write
This number down instead?
Fourthly, do I need a DNA kit if both the dam and sire are APHA and
Registered (breeding method used : live cover)?
Fifthly, I have the signature of the dam's owner at time of foaling
Under her section, the same for the stallion, and the signature of the
Dam's owner at time of foaling under the transfer section. Do I need
Any other signature from any previous owners?
Sixthly, if I write a color for the body, mane and tail and the APHA judge
It is not the right one, will my paper be refused or it will be
Changed (her tail is between sorrel and chestnut)
Now, about the pictures, can I submit more than four incase some of
Them are not good enough?
Is there anything else I should know before I send in my registration form?
Thank you for your help!!
EDIT : this is the form I'm using : http://www.apha.com/forms/PDFFiles/regapp.pdf
