Barrel racers could you give me some info. please?

I have an opportunity to buy a coming two year colt by Fuel Charger, out of a mare named Sol Olena, a daughter of Sunfrost. I am familiar with the cowhorse side of the breeding but not the racing side. What can you guys tell me. Temperment, trainability...etc...
Is this a good cross?

I haven't seen him yet, so I am going purely off the papers at the moment, so conformation aside, what do you think?

Ohhh Sun Frost..tell me more. I love him and his offspring. Amazing horses.
One of my favorite trainers in Ga has a Sun Frost son that I drool over..Still standing at stud also, if I ever breed Nikki he'll definitely be hearing from me.

I second what Jumanji said, do you have his full pedigree available? I could tell you a lot more..

ETA - I personally think cow bred horses and running bred make fantastic foals..but then again, I run barrels..both sides add great traits for barrel horses. You just make to make sure the mare and stud compliment eachother and you should be in for a heck of a foal.

I don't know the colts registered name but if you go to allbreedpedigree and do a search for "Fuel Charger" the sire, then do a second search for "Sol Olena" the mare.

I would post the links but I am on my smart phone that is apparently smarter than me..tee he..

Ohh my, now you are speaking my language...Pictures asap! More info..Color? Height? Lordy, he has a good bit of my favorites on his papers..

And where is he located? Because if you don't want him, and he has good conformation and attitude, I want him! ...I mean...you don't want him..he's terrible..Don't even bother looking..awful mix!

*whispers to Smrobs* If you go to Nevada and get him I'll give you gas money so I only have to drive to Texas..

Laugh! That's even better..I can pick him up and see Smrobs in one trip! Seriously though, I hope he turns out to look and act as nice as his papers say he should. If he is, he would be coming home with me...Sadly he is a looong way away from me and I already have 3 horses. All reining, cow horse, cutting, and running bred...

Rob, Fuel Charger is bred all out for running..With horses like Jet Deck on his papers he has quite a bit of talent behind him.

There is no questioning what Sol Olena is bred for..Working. That horse is bred to work a cow. Sun Frost and his offspring also produced a ton of good barrel horses..
