Default Breeding Specials for 2010 anyone?

Anyone heard of any good ones? Anyone planning on breeding in 2010?

I'm not as my mare just foaled this past May and needs a break (as do I!) and I want to breed to Edelweiss duBonce next time and may keep the baby depending on how he turns out - in which case I want a few years between my current colt (to be gelded) and the next one.

I did hear that Avalon Equine (Welcome to Avalon Equine ~ Quality Performance Sport Horses) is running an early bird special for the first 10 people to book this year to any of their three stallions for $350!!! I can't believe it, and am kinda considering buying one and using in 2011 (since I believe it's good for 3 years).

My current colt is a Mannhattan baby and he's just awesome, and I know Mannhattan had several site champions at inspections across the country for Old NA this year, which is awesome - he makes great babies.

And like I said I want to breed my mare to Edelweiss duBonce next because I think he's just stunning, and since he does dressage, and has jumper bloodlines, either way I think the baby will be a winner!

We have an LA Express baby here (she's actually 7 now) and just a jaw-dropping mover. Unreal! I don't have a mare right now that would cross well to him though - and I only need so many babies!!!!

But I am also offering my mare for broodmare lease if anyone is interested. She's a well bred TB with War Deputy/Deputy Minister on top and Ebony Sky (dam) by Crimson Satan on the bottom. She scored a 101 at the inspection, and almost made premium, with great scores for movement and topline and hind quarters which the judge really liked. I'd offer a discount to anyone breeding her to an Avalon stallion since I really like them and would love to have a sneak preview of what an Edelweiss baby would be like before I breed one for myself haha!

Any other breeding specials out there yet? Let's use this thread to share info!!!!

We'll have a foal (hopefully) in 2010....around July. The last foal out of these two horses didn't make it....he was born crowned. Fingers crossed that this one will be healthy!

I am introducing my colt, Risky In Gray, in 2010. He will be a 3 yr old.
He is an absolute doll!! I have him started under saddle and will be putting handle on him all through next year and will futurity barrels with him either as a 4 yr old or 5 yr old. We will also be doing showmanship, trail , and western riding at AQHA shows and some good old fashion trail riding.

Fee is $600 for LFG, first A.I. or shipped semen (mare care additional), IF eligible. If book before January, I will discount $50. Purchase now and the price is good for 3 yrs. Which will be a heck of a deal and as we are on the Future Fortunes waiting list and we could be up by then.

He will be at least 16 hands (I am betting on a solid 16.1)

Lots of miniatures are born with genoformities because they've been bred down so small. Crowned is just another genoformity where the foal is born with water on his/her brain. The parents.....

I can not remember the last time I paid a full priced stud fee. I always get good discounts to just about any stallion I like.
