A colt might have bred his mom?

My friend has a 9 month old colt (stallion), that she is going to take to get fixed in two mondays, but here is the problem she had the colt in with three other geldings then his mom was in two fields away from him and well some how he got in with her and we think he bred her, my friend said she looked out the window and she saw it and she is pretty sure she is bred. So if she did get bred what are we suppose to do? Will she me ok or not?

Have your friend call a vet and Lute the mare. That way, even if she did take, she'll flush the fertilized egg.
