Her best bet would be to look up a breeding facility in the area or an AI collection facility, although she may have better luck in the spring than the middle of summer. :)

I am in NW Ohio and run a small stallion station. However I am done for the year. As are most breeding facilities.

There are courses available, although you would need to travel and be aware that not all are "created equal". Up until last year, we (Equine-Reproduction.com) held courses all over the country and offered about 20 a year. We've cut WAY back on the number we hold until things turn around a bit. We currently have one offered in England so you could make it a fabulous vacation trip, as well <lol>. Colorado State University usually holds a few a year, as well and their courses are definitely very good. Texas A&M used to hold a couple a year, as did University of Florida, Gainesville. Those would be the three that I could comfortably recommend and know are current on informatio, research and know what they're talking about. They have some of the top researchers in the world on staff.

    Good luck!

I know that Degraff Stables has a reproduction DVD on their website you could buy. Its something that might help you. You would most likely want to call to make sure its what you want though. :) Good luck!

If anyone would be willing to give us a tour of your stables, it would be greatly appreciated. We will be in the Toledo area tonight, we are willing to travel further if needed.

We are interested in breeding horses in the future only for our own personal use, we are looking to build a stable on our property soon. We are looking to purchase two horses in the near future, whomever is willing to donate some time tonight, we will come to you when we are looking to buy.

We own a graphic design, video production, and web design company, and do brand & product promotion, so we would be willing to help you where we can in return.
