Ok so I know you guys are saying to get a vet out when we get her, but mom was thinking about doing that after we can safely halter her...Is this a good idea? I mean, I think so because a lot went on in her life in just 2 weeks, being taken and rehomed, and now rehomed again, and thats not even counting what all went on where she used to be, so we didn't want to stress her out or anything, but what do you think?

What do you mean, halter her? She's not halter broke? Or hard to catch?

oh geeze....you have your hands full there...how do you plan on keeping her still for a vet check??? It is highly suggested here given the situation....if she is infoal you will need to get her on a good feeding program etc....never mind working on the halter thing....you dont want to have to be dealing with that while waiting on a foal...it could pose as a big problem if there are complications and you cant put a halter on her...I wish you all the best and keep us posted:)
