Question donkey in foal, what to look for?

I don't know how much any of you know about donkeys, but I am buying a new donkey who is in foal, I am wondering what the gestation period is for a standard sized donkey. And if there are any special things I should look out for? She has a big belly now, when do they syart to foal? I will get the vet out when we get her but? But till then I would appreciate any help!! Thank you:)

I believe their gestation is about 14 months. Well 12-14 months. I don't know a whole lot about donkeys. But I do know they carry longer then horses do.
