Edward Scissorhands first free jump lesson...

Meet Edward Scissorhands d'Avalon! He is a three year old stallion prospect. He is out of one of our top broodmares, Morticia (Mannhattan x Faberge/Frohwind) and by Escudo II. This was Edward's first free jumping lesson and he certainly is proving his heritage! Edward is a true homozygous black and will be presented and inspected next year. Currently, he stands 16 hands at three. We're hoping to get some new photos of him once this blasted heat breaks. Watch for more information on Edward as he continues with his training on our Facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Avalon...06465872722868 and/or at our website - http://www.avalon-equine.com

I admire you for your awesome names- its one thing to show a horse at the local pony club shows with a name like that... But a valuable horse like this? KUDOS :)

Thanks everyone <smile>. We have a great time coming up with names for Morticia's offspring. So far she's had a Dracula d'Avalon, Edward Scissorhands and this year she had Beeltlejuice d'Avalon! I figure at the very least, they "are" memorable!
