Egyptian arabian lines

Does anyone know anything about my horse's lines? I'm not as familiar with egyptian lines as I am other arabian types. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Classic SE lineage, with a veritable who's who of very popular and prolific stallions from back in the day.

I was especially fond of Nazeer, Morafic, and Ansata Ibn Halima, even though Morafic had a rather short, cresty neck that he tended to pass along to his foals.

Morafic was one of the very first (if not the first? SR do you know?) SE stallions brought to the States with Glennloch farms and was one of the establishing sires for the SE lines here, very famous sire back in the day!

Actually Sarah, the first SE Arabian stallion brought to the US was back in the late 1890s, although he has no living SE descendants today in the US.

The next biggest influx was in the 1930s, by the Babsons and Browns.

The first Nazeer son to come to the US was Rashad Ibn Nazeer, in 1958. Morafic was imported by Gleannloch in 1965. So while Morafic wasn't the first, he was certainly one of the most influential SE stallions in US history.

Well yes, people tend to want THEIR beloved horse to be the first.

Nope, not the first, but certainly very important to the breed, and specifically the SE lineage.

Thanks, SR! He came from a big breeder, but I didn't recognize many of the names. I know Nazeer and Morafic, but that was the extent of it. Lol.

Thanks! I just hope that translates into success in the show ring in Junior horse classes.
