Expert Help Needed for Teenaged horse.

Dear Experts,

My young horse has taken up an alarming habit.
It all started when I bought him a Smoking Jacket.
I suspected something because he was constantly sneaking off into the forest, but it wasn't until today when I finally caught him at it that I finally had proof.
He tells me that he feels it makes him appear more bourgeois, and that other horses take him more seriously now, but I think he is far too young and am worried about his health.
Has anyone else had this problem?
