Is this a foal belly?

Delicia is now 122 days in foal....and I suspect she is showing!
Here she is 3 weeks ago:

And here she is today

Surely its too early?

Too early. At 6 months you can start to tell.

Some mares look pregnant from the get go, some look pregnant later, some never look pregnant, and some nonpregnant mares/geldings/stallions look pregnant. Belly size means nothing in terms of horses and pregnancy.

My hubby always laughs at me, the day after we're done breeding the mare I go to him and say, "She took" or "She didn't take". He thinks I'm nuts but in 20 years I've only missed once. LOL! I told him the mare lied to me.

Dee rather likes the fuss of being in foal. She gets to hang out in the field with her mates, eat, sleep and poo. Such a hard life

LOL-- I've done this accurately with mine so far, and they give me the hairy eyeball too.
