Foal blankets.

I am looking at ordering a blanket for our late (or very early, depending on how you look at it...) upcoming foal.

I was all set to order this blanket. Its adjustable from 28" to 42" and looks nice.

BUT when compairing it to other blankets I noticed 42" is one of the smallest sizes you can order in the non-adjustable foal blankets. Like this blanket.

The pending baby is out of a 16.3hh Percheron and by a 16.2hh Thoroughbred.

Any guess if that first blanket will fit baby?

And any suggestions on foal blankets you like?

The stall will be deep bedded with cozy straw and a heat lamp but I'd like to turn the foal out when possible, so we are looking for a jacket.

Trained
Here's one that's specifically made for warmblood/TB sized foals:

I've used the smaller ones for Arabian & 1/2 Arab foals and the work wonderfully and are very durable. I've been using 2 since 2001 and it's finally time to replace those 2, the others that I've bought since are still in great condition.
