    Foalies And Halters

Now, I'm not sure if this is in the right place, if not, feel free to move it :)
So, lately I've been stalking a foal's birth that didn't go too well- it now has kidney issues but is improving so far. Anyways, while looking at one of the latest videos I saw he was wearing a harness of some kind when they were leading him.
Turned out it was an upside down, full sized halter
Baby's head goes through the nose piece, then you buckle the throatlatch around the belly- and the connecting strap becomes a handle
Sorry if this is supposed to be general knowledge and i'm a bit slow... I just thought it seemed like a good idea and wanted to share

Haha i've used full sized horse halters on my goats, and dogs like that before, its actually pretty useful in a pinch.

When I was a kid, we put halters on sheep like you described. Then we lead them around to give short rides and the riders had something to hang onto. What else do you use the boys for? LOL
