Foaling thread pics...

Well, I have the mandatory side and udder shots that I need and now for all of your wisdom please! Do you all have any good guesses as to when she could be due?

Is she a maiden mare or has she had foals in the past?

No idea when she's due, I rescued her about 2 months ago. My vet says she is likely not maiden.

She looks pretty relaxed in the tail head, but her bag says no time soon. Or, she could just be pulling the wool over our eyes and bag up the night she foals.

She could foal tomorrow or a month. Some mares are A cups while others are DD cups when they are done bagging up.

As far as a vet saying that she is not likely a maiden, that is only a guess. My mom took a mare in to an equine repro vet that said the mare was a maiden because of how the uterus was shaped. Well, progeny records say differently, she had a colt three years before this breeding exam. LOL
