Goldmaker at the 70 Day Stallion Test!

We got to watch Goldmaker go which is always fun! He's got a tough row to hoe being a Thoroughbred amongst some very, very nice warmbloods . Some things are easy for him, but others are definitely more of a struggle. And, being the oldest boy in the test but essentially green, he has all the disadvantages of being older and none of the advantages. Hopefully, he'll be able to pull it all together and do us proud <chewing fingernails>.

In any event, here's a photo we were able to take today !

The testing is held at Silver Creek Sporthorses in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. There are 25 stallions enrolled this year and all but one are born and bred in North America! That "is" a first :). Typically more than 1/2 of the stallions have been imports... WOOT!!! Go American...or at the very least, North American!!!
