I pulled a genetic panel on Skippy, even though I knew he was N/N for HYPP. Since I had been told the Boo was LWO, I wanted that tested too on Skip to make sure he wasn't hiding anything. So, I pulled the color panel, the genetic disease panel and did an LWO test. NN all the way across for everything scary.

Did the same for Boo. She's NN all the way across for genetics, ee/AA AND............................................... ................NN for LWO! WOOO HOOOO!

And best news of all, her colt, Bodacious Okie Gunner (Obvious Fancy Gun, sire) is NN FOR HYPP!!!!!!! Can ya see me dancin? Can ya hear me hollerin? WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO:ha ppydance:

LOL! Yeah, but ya know, when you can only go by word of mouth and it's a little old lady who really doesn't understand what she's telling you, you just smile, nod, pull hair and move on.

I was getting pretty comfortable with the thought of Bo being N/N even without the test, I've never seen even a twitch that I couldn't account for externally. But, it's cheap insurance $25 to test, and now I know for SURE and CERTAIN. So, when he's old enough, he'll go under saddle with no reservations.

So true, why wouldn't you test for $25.

Congrats on N/N all the way
