Guaranteed Gold / Puchi Trap filly arrived this morning ...

We had our final foal of the season early this morning - the much anticipated Guaranteed Gold / Puchi Trap foal - a beautiful and BIG and leggy palomino TB filly, who is a full sister to Faux Finish, Chai Latte, Remember My Name and Nightlight. She was due June 13th but decided to go early, thank goodness ...

Here are some pictures and please forgive the "crumpled" appearance but the poor thing IS only about 10 hours old in these pictures!!!

And:

And:

And:

And finally:

She is one big baby! I felt so sorry for Puchi Trap having to pop this one out!

Congrats to everyone else on their babies as well!

Gorgeous! Love those long legs.

Lovely mare, btw. But I think I've said that before.

She's very cute. Am I wrong or this couple only throws the fillies?

Is she a solid palomino or is there some white on her? Beautiful baby, by the way. I'm in love with the rest of her siblings!

TCF, always been a fan of your program and especially FF! Can't say I'm suprised one bit at another beautiful foal from this couple - just sad it will be the last :(

Congrats!!

Wrong ... Stonewashed and Remember My Name were / are both colts.

Nary a white hair anywhere ... and I had a VERY stern discussion with her dam afterwards and told her it is to NEVER happen, ever again and she seemed suitably chastised ...

Oh no - we're good to go for a few more years yet! Until the dam shows me that she'd had enough of this baby business. Guaranteed Gold WAS sold to Scotland and I had 4 others in the deal as well, but that didnt end up going through, so everyone is now staying with me for the forseeable future!

Thanks so much! Faux Finish has been confirmed in foal to Redwine for an April 2010 foal so I am REALLY looking forward to that cross! Its so exciting once the homebred youngsters embark on their own breeding careers as well ...

Oh! And the name for this new filly was just approved this morning. Its "Blonde In A Motel" which I just LOVE!

Thank again everyone ...

Absolutely breathtaking! I must admit, it amazes me how stunning your crew is. Not just from color, but conformationally as well. For the most part I am NOT a big Thoroughbred person - I find a large majority of racehorses just conformationally frightful. But these sport types are absolutely divine! I positively DROOLED over Faux Finish, and can't wait to see her first foal! That must be exciting!

OH! I hadn't heard that!! I would like to say "sorry to hear that" but.... I'd be lying! I'm so glad to hear they will be staying at TCF!!

What a gorgeous, long legged baby!

"Faux Finish has been confirmed in foal to Redwine for an April 2010 foal "

Every since I heard this, I have been SO excited! Tell her to hurry it up please, this is going to be a very exciting mix. Although, I look at stally pictures, and I think FF is even nicer then him, lol. And that's saying alot because he is gorgeous!
