Redwine is THE perfect cross for Faux Finish, In my opinion ...

He is a lighter, elegant, refined WB stallion with a gorgeous head and topline and with FF being so large framed, I didnt want to go with a heavy WB stallion and add more bulk to the baby. Plus he's jet black with the 4 high stockings and white face, is a beautiful hunter type mover and is showing all of the right instincts over fences as well in his showing debut. I think as well he will be a better 4' horse than what he is showing now over the smaller 3' jumps ...

Here are a few pics of him:

    And:

As some of you know, I sold the full sibling to Faux Finish and this newest filly - the 2008 smoky black Nightlight filly:

    And:

And along with that sale I am also getting a few embryo's from her. Redwine would be perfect with her as well, so I am looking forward to a Redwine / Nightlight filly in the future and I still have to pick one more stallion to do an ET breeding with, which will be awfully neat as well ...

FINALLY got some video footage done of the little darling yesterday in between rain storms!

Here is "Blonde In A Motel" at one month old

The "Champagneandpearls" filly that is seen in the video as well is 6 weeks older and the "One of the Boys" bay colt is 2 months older than Blondie is. Blondie IS a big girl but next to those 2 kids she looks rather petite!

She's stunning! What about other 2? Are they also yours? She's the best out of all 3 though (IMHO).

Thanks again for the nice words ...

All 3 foals I bred. Fred - the bay colt - is by the freshman race bred sire Alumni Hall and he will head for either the Keeneland or Woodbine sale in 2010 as a yearling. The dam's last foal sold for $67,000 and I am HOPING he can come somewhat close to that and the economy has rebounded enough for him to do so

The perlino filly was sold in utero and will head to her new home in CO around September/October - once she has adjusted to life on her own post weaning and we can find a ride out for her

And Blondie is for sale and will hopefully find a nice new home soon as well ...
