Already listing over 300 champion stallions of all breeds, mare owners can save 50% on regular stud fees. Breedings are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 2010 Roster can be seen here:

The prize money is made by selling the breedings for 1/2 price that are donated by stallion owners.

It's a win/win for everyone.

Yeah, I can definately see how the foals that are born to idiots who get excited that they can finally afford a champion stallion win when they're born fugly anyway because no amount of champion can fix the cow hocked ewe necked roached back knock kneed mare.

Quick, the economy is failing, let's throw it onto the shoulders of unwanted horses everywhere! Yay!

Sorry to disappoint you, but stallion owners get approval of the mares who buy the breedings.

BTW this is not a new program for 2010, it is our 3rd year.

That's VERY smart. I think it's a great program then.

Then you may want to stop plastering "First Come First Serve" all over and say something in your FAQ about mares having to be pre-approved. I looked before I posted and didn't see anything. I only saw on some studs "Arabian Mares Only" otherwise they can apparently be of any breed.

It is clearly spelled out in the Rules as such. The Rules are posted on the website.
